PRAISES
- Several inmates have asked recently to trade their Quran or their Jehovah’s Witness New World Translation for a Holy Bible. Pray for more of this!
- More than enough churches responded to provide Christmas gift bags (Hope Packs) for our inmate population! Pray for this ministry which takes place December 18th.
- DG, an inmate awaiting a likely death sentence, has come to profess his faith in Jesus; entrusting Jesus for the forgiveness of his sins!
PRAYER REQUESTS
- Jehovah’s Witness volunteers continue to be a strong presence here, and we daily receive requests from inmates wanting more from them. Pray these volunteers turn their attention away from the jail, and ultimately to the real Jesus.
- JS has decided to trust Jesus for forgiveness and new life! Pray for his growth and understanding as he reads the Word. Pray for me as I counsel him.
- We give out about 85 Bibles a week. Pray for the inmates who are requesting these; that they not see them as tokens of good luck, but that they open the Bibles and discover the goodness of God and the truth that will set them free!
