International Partner: Global Baptist Training Foundation
Global Baptist Training Foundation, led by members Dr. Bruce and Grace Snavely, currently operates in 36 countries on three continents where GBTF takes college-level theological training to pastors and church leaders in developing nations without charge. GBTF currently has 238 national trainers, mainly throughout Africa. GBTF has seen over 30,000 national pastors and church leaders equipped with a full Bible college education. Through these trained pastors, GBTF has planted 2,218 churches who report hundreds of thousands of people coming to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. These churches then baptize and disciple each new believer. FBC has partnered with them since 2018. We support them through prayer and financial giving.

- James Togba, GBTF West Africa Director, has just completed teaching classes in Ghana. Over 40 pastors and pastors’ wives attended the classes in Bibliology,
Christology, and Anthropology. The reports state that the students were highly motivated and asking for their next classes to be provided as soon as possible. This
class included a pastor from Togo and another from Ivory Coast. Each of these pastors expressed the desire to
become a host for GBTF training classes in these countries. GBTF is already expanding into Togo and Ivory Coast before the end of 2026. These are large
countries, so having a second or even third host will allow us to hold several classes in these countries in various locations. This is typically how we see GBTF grow and expand. Word spreads quickly about college level theological training. - Praise! – Despite multiple challenges like sickness, poverty, and religious opposition, 22 graduates persevered and completed all 16 courses in the Global Baptist Training Foundation curriculum in Tanzania! GBTF East Africa Director, Naboth Atusasire, traveled to Masasim, Tanzania to conduct the graduation ceremony, give a charge to the graduates and personally congratulate the newest member of the GBTF family!
